I LOVE my new school! It is fantastic! The boys are great. The beginning of school is tough, because you are teaching the boys the rules of the grade. Many reminders of tucking in their shirts, not slamming lockers and no talking in the hallways. But they are so cute in their uniforms, trying to say my last name,
(its Italian, although I am not- I love when people are genuinely surprised that I am not Italian. Hello I have freckles, blond hair, and paler then a vampire.~ Anyway),and how hard they are trying to do well. A few earned enough tickets for the Treasure chest today, and you would have thought it was Christmas. Sorry I have gone off on a tangent, it is boring. The boy who is not a baby anymore, is loving the new school as well. What an interesting week:
* I enjoyed watching the new 90210, I love that Kelly is the school counselor, and Brenda has come for a visit. I wonder if Brandon is the father of Kelly's son? I was a huge fan of the original, so I am looking forward to the new version 2.0. I thought is was interesting that the school has a lacrosse team. Has the sport gotten that popular in California as well?
* McCain's VP choice. WOW, as I have posted before I am an Obama supporter, and a Democrat all the way. I was surprised by his choice, and secretly happy. Will she be his downfall? I agree that the families should be left out of the campaign, but that is impossible. How shady that Palin tried to get her ex brother in law fired, and when that didn't happen she fired the person who would not follow her orders. Well time will tell, and it will be interesting to watch.
* On the East Coast we are "batting down the hatches" as my mother said today. We are expecting lots of rain. I am hoping for a pajama day this weekend, and hopefully the storm will give us an excuse to stay in our p.j.'s all day.
I have missed blogging and reading others blogs as well. I am hopeful to catch up this weekend. Cross your fingers that we have an excuse to stay in our p.j.'s all day!
Happy weekend! xoox, Becs
Saturday morning comment: Nautical by Nature (check out her blog) left a comment that Lacrosse was not big in any schools (public or private) in Southern California. Add to the fact that the twins are from the Midwest and the boy plays on the Lax team. Bit of a reach.

1 Interesting thoughts:
That is one thing that annoyed me about 90210-I don't know anyone, public or private school, who played lacrosse in high school. A couple of the private co-ed schools may have had teams but LAX is definitely not popular in southern California (compared to the east coast).
Glad school went well :)
