Earlier today Rock Star Hubby and I were talking about the hurricane and all the hype that can surround it ( like our local news at the beach). Some how we got on the topic of swimming and how people were swimming in the ocean during the hurricane. An old memory surfaced, of when I lived at the beach (10 years ago) and how I swam with a friend ( who was a lifeguard) in hurricane waters. It was truly amazing, so much fun, and incredible to feel the power of the ocean. It was not very smart even with a "trained professional". That led to a discussion of how I could find out which hurricane it was by typing in 1998 hurricane. Sure enough it was hurricane Bonnie.
How wonderfully wacky and how quickly my life changed from swimming in hurricanes (okay one), to being married for 9 years (almost) together for 10, a mom to an 8 year old crazy man, and a teacher. I much prefer my life now, then it was 10 years ago! xoxo, Becs
