Sunday Afternoon in Bohemia, finds me on the couch, still suffering from a nasty cold. I now have missed out on two fun events this weekend. Last night was a big party for some close friends big birthdays. I felt too bad to go and I did not want to share my germs with the birthday ladies. Today a group of parents and boys from our old school are having a football (watching)/ pizza party. The goal with this group is for the parents to spend time together to get to know the parents of their son's friends. I am so happy they continued to include us, because I really like all the parents and boys. I am surrounded by third grade papers and have both the NY times Sunday paper and the Internet trying to distract me.
I just answered a Gallup poll where the series of questions ranged from my political views, state of my health, my general happiness in life, if I like where I live, etc. He said it is the largest survey in the history of Gallup surveys and they update their website everyday with current information. They are interested in reporting the overall condition of the United States. I was pleasantly surprised by how happy I am with my life. Although a few things could change, in general a nice realization for a "glass is half empty kind of girl" xoxox, Becs

Hope you get rid of that nasty cold very soon!!
Hey you just named a news publication! You should run for office!!
Hope your feeling better soon.
Ugh, I am getting a cold as well - but it has been a nice excuse to stay at home with Caspar (who also has one and is very grumpy) - turn up the heating (while it is lashing down with rain outside), and just lie about!! BTW - I'd love to be commenting on U.S. Politics, but I am so out of touch with it all these days! Plus it's very hard for me to decide either way because what I think might be good for the world may not necessarily be a good thing for the states (the UK press aren't really covering the candidates domestic policies). Plus although I'm a centrist conserative over here - I am well aware its a very different thing in sme aspects in the states! Also, we value quite different tings when it comes to our candidates here, - I don't want to make a half baked pejorative judgement and offend anyone!
Sorry for the cold....hope you are better!! What's your take on the recent debate-(Obama-Mcain)? Felt Mcain was extremely rude, refering to Obama at one point as "That one" and referred to Obama and people he has in his campaign as "Sen. Obama and his crounies (sp) Kinda rude!!
